Teachers

Michael & Camilla met as students in Manchester in a club, dancing to house music. Those were the days!

They have practised and taught yoga for over 25 years, and in 2010, moved to the bright lights of rural Norfolk after living in Cambridge, London and Tokyo.

Camilla is a Level 3 Iyengar yoga teacher. Her steps on the yoga road started in the early 90s, and her teaching style is dynamic and playful. Off the mat, she has a PGCE in post-16 education and an MA in Creative Writing. She's published work in The Guardian, and the Observer. Her debut book, Named: A Story of Names and Reclaiming Who We Are, was published in 2025, and shortlisted for the prestigious East Anglian Book Awards.

Michael is a Level 3 Iyengar yoga teacher and an acupuncturist. He has a BSc(Hons) in Acupuncture and a BA in politics and sociology. He has experience working in the NHS and teaching in Higher Education. Michael has spent years studying the body through yoga, acupuncture and massage. He is fascinated by the potential of the body/mind and how yoga can transform our sense of self. He is currently studying for an MA in Medical and Health Humanties.

Camilla and Michael believe teaching and learning are most effective when served with a good dollop of humour!
